§ 1 Community Conduct, Names & Admin Authority
Every player is expected to contribute to a respectful and playable community environment. Normal competition, disagreement and PvP rivalry are part of DayZ; personal harassment and deliberate disruption are not.
Player names and public content
- Every player must set a recognizable in-game name in the DayZ Launcher parameters.
- Offensive, discriminatory, extremist or otherwise inappropriate names and publicly visible content are prohibited.
- Impersonating staff members or another player is prohibited.
Conduct
- Targeted harassment, discriminatory statements, deliberate disruption of other players and abusive behavior toward other community members are prohibited.
- Unauthorized advertising for other DayZ servers, communities, commercial services or unrelated products is prohibited.
- Support tickets and staff communication must not be abused, spammed or deliberately manipulated.
Admin authority
Instructions from the Noctavia admin team must be followed. Admins may intervene to enforce these rules, resolve ownership disputes, correct technical problems, remove illegal structures or items and protect server stability.
Deliberately misleading staff, falsifying evidence or knowingly withholding decisive information during an investigation may itself be sanctioned.
